Larry Ellison Biography

Larry Ellison full name is Lawrance Joseph Ellison was born on 17th August 1944 in New York City, United States of America. Allison's father was an Italian American United States Army Air Corps pilot. His parents had no money, and his childhood was marked by misery throughout his life.

When Ellison was only 9 years old, his mother gave him up for adoption to her sister, who raised him in Chicago. It was a simple family, with a loving mother and a strict, stubborn father. Larry was independent leading to frequent conflicts and misunderstandings with his stepfather and his peers. He would not see his mother again for 46 years. His mother, Louise, loved him deeply, but his father did less so.

However, he lost interest in the education process and, as a result of poor performance, was expelled after the first semester. In 1966, he moved to California at the age of 22.

In response to the September 11 terrorist attacks, Ellison offered to donate software to the U.S. government that would enable it to establish a new national identification database to issue ID cards and identify everyone with high accuracy.
